Is it normal for your dog to meow like a cat? (My long hair chihuahua, when excited meows like a cat.)
Well do you think it is normal
I think it is If your dog has a strong prey drive (the inclination to seek out, chase and potentially capture animals seen as prey — usually smaller animals such as cats or rabbits), she might become very focused on the cat. She'll stiffen, stare, and may start barking or whining. If you see these signs, do not let her near the cat.
I don't think its normal, maybe it is? Ask a vet the next time u go?
pretty sure it's not normal, but it's cool and doesn't harm the dog, you're all good amigo:)
I dunno if thats normal or not

ok, because I came to pet my god this morning, and he just looks up at me and straight up meows in my face like a cat.

My dog has never came across any type of feline.
yeahhh, maybe I should get that checked out.
I think it's not that serious, but if you're worried about the safety of your doggo, go get it checked out~
your dog might have just learned to imitate something they've seen
I'm not worried but it caught me off guard to have my dog meow in my face after a few years.

Go to the vet. k bye.
Animals are weirdos sometimes. I wouldn't say it's something to explicitly worry about lest it continues and seems to be having effects upon said animal.
Chihuahuas basically do that, given it's just one of their growls when they're conflicted with something or someone nearby.
