When you are sending a person to another Question Help site it is basically like saying that we don't know how to solve questions here, as hoodmemes mentioned it can hurt QC.
Brainly and QC are different, yes, but It's best to help users here to the best of our ability without suggesting another question help site.

I don't understand. I mean it's not the fact there is another site that is being used. The point of this site is to help the users, not Discourage them by trying to help. Sure they were using their cite sources and stuff like that. but without those extra sites that are being handled this site would be nothing. We would have bad recommendations on this site. That can hurt the site more than sharing a link to another site.
