pumpkinpiee:

Rohen decided to collect data to determine if the size of a student's home and the student's age are correlated. He determined the data to have a correlation coefficient of 0.02. What does this r value indicate? No correlation A strong, positive correlation A weak, positive correlation A negative correlation

Razor:

| r | ≤ 1 If r = 1, the correlation is perfect and positive, meaning that the data are linearly correlated and when one variable increases the other also increase. if r = - 1, the correlation is perfect and negative, meaning that the data are linearly correlated and when one variable increases the other decreases. A correlation coefficient close to zero means that the variables are not correlated at all. So what does that last bit tell you?

Ok thank yall
