WavyML:

Ax+By=C

WavyML:

@jhonyy9

umm:

What is the full question?

WavyML:

I have to solve that I'm working on equations and Inequalities

umm:

I see. Which letter are you solving for?

WavyML:

Tbh idk she just said solve it

CripQUEZZ:

Then solve it

CripQUEZZ:

Does it say what the letters equal

WavyML:

it equals C

boredfr:

It is possible that this is not the right answer but~~~ Step 1: Add -by to both sides. ax+by+−by=c+−by ax=−by+c Step 2: Divide both sides by x. ax x = −by+c x a= −by+c x Answer: a= −by+c x

CripQUEZZ:

No like does A= a number? Or b

boredfr:

\(\color{#0cbb34}{\text{Originally Posted by}}\) @boredfr It is possible that this is not the right answer but~~~ Step 1: Add -by to both sides. ax+by+−by=c+−by ax=−by+c Step 2: Divide both sides by x. ax x = −by+c x a= −by+c x Answer: a= −by+c x \(\color{#0cbb34}{\text{End of Quote}}\) This is solving for A

jhonyy9:

Ax +By = C y = (C -Ax)/B

WavyML:

@jhonyy9 that's it/ It's that simple?

umm:

In better terms for @boredfr's post.. Solving for a ax+by=c Add `-by` to both sides. ax+by+−by=c+−by ax=−by+c Divide both sides by x \[\frac{ ax }{ x }=\frac{ -by+c }{ x }\] Leaving you with \[a=\frac{ -by+c }{ x }\]

jhonyy9:

\(\color{#0cbb34}{\text{Originally Posted by}}\) @WavyML @jhonyy9 that's it/ It's that simple? \(\color{#0cbb34}{\text{End of Quote}}\) depend for what letter you need to solve it

WavyML:

she didn't give us a specific letter to solve for

WavyML:

WavyML:

I need help on dat too

WavyML:

qyestion gonna be closed

umm:

Solving for b Given \[ax+by=c\] Add `-ax` to both sides.\[ax+by+−ax=c+−ax\]\[by=−ax+c\] Divide both sides by y \[\frac{ by }{ y }=\frac{ −ax+c }{ y }\] Leaving you with \

umm:

:\ QuestionCove messing up my last bit..

jhonyy9:

@umm i think maybe to creat the standard for of a function y = f(x) = ?

WavyML:

skkkrtt lol yall can stop now thx

umm:

I was thinking so, @jhonyy9. Was going to give him the rundown of all from A, B, C, X, and Y.

umm:

Also, in the recent question, @WavyML, are you solving for x or y?

CripQUEZZ:

\(\color{#0cbb34}{\text{Originally Posted by}}\) @umm I was thinking so, @jhonyy9. Was going to give him the rundown of all from A, B, C, X, and Y. \(\color{#0cbb34}{\text{End of Quote}}\) Isn’t A, B, C, X, and Y, isnt that the alphabet but shortened

jhonyy9:

ok but we know that the standard form from Ax +By =C is y = f(x) = (C -Ax)/B

umm:

Correct.

WavyML:

@umm @jhonyy9 Yall is smart (very)
