carlosbigbain:

There are 6 and 2 over 3pounds of walnuts in a container, which will be divided equally into containers that hold 1 and 1 over 3pounds. This would fill ____ and 9 over 12containers.

carlosbigbain:

can someone help

jhonyy9:

so like a first step \[6\frac{ 2 }{ 3 } = \frac{ (6*3 +2) }{ 3 } = \frac{ 20 }{ 3 }\] \[1\frac{ 1 }{ 3 } = \frac{ ?(3*1 +1) }{ 3 } = \frac{ 4 }{ 3 }\] so and now you need to get how you divide equally this 20/3 by 4/3 in containers ?

jhonyy9:

@supie any idea pls ? ty

carlosbigbain:
