Basically, all you're doing is solving \(23+(-98))\) Which is basically \(23-98\)

Ok first Multiply 2 into everything in the () So 2 x 23 + 2 x -98 Which solves to 46 + -196 -73 So then you jus solve it 46 + -196 = -150 -73 And since they both are negative u jus add them -150 - 73 = -223 So there you go
