hhanan:

What is the next term in the sequence 2,-2/3, 2/9,-2/27...

CripQUEZZ:

Well it’s jus multiplying by 1/3 So multiply 2/27 by 1/3 and u get your answer

Convert:

So as we can see the numerator in each one is 2,-2,2,-2, etc. The denominator goes up by multiples of 3. So because of this I think it'd be 2/81.

hhanan:

so it would be 2/81 or -1/3 ?

Convert:

\(\color{#0cbb34}{\text{Originally Posted by}}\) @hhanan so it would be 2/81 or -1/3 ? \(\color{#0cbb34}{\text{End of Quote}}\) You would multiply each term by -1/3 to get 2/81.
