Okay, So I have seen a few posts and comments from the newcomers saying something about having a suggestion that they would like abt the chat, etc.

So if you haven't known yet, Here is what you wanna do instead of making a post about it.

In the top left you will see 3 lines, if you click on that you should see a section that says ''suggestions'' And if you click on that and fill out the form, The suggestion will be looked at and maybe put a little thought into.

if you want to turn off the annoying notification noise (sorry!) You can go to the 3 lines to your top left and click ''push Notifications'' There you will be able to see a list of things you can turn on and off, All you have to turn off is Notification sounds. Which isn't very hard in my opinion.

If there is any other information that can be said or asked, Lmk or one of the mods. : )

When you read ''invite'' That is for inviting someone in QC. And I believe your Smart score goes up higher too, I am not sure.

Settings are for changing your password, your Biography, To go there you can also Unblock users and Block them.

The rules are just like any other site, where you can follow them and your account won't be harmed.

The FAQ- As you should know menas Frequently asked questions, It is about The basics, etc. That can help you out if you are unsure about some of the things that go on in QC. Especially those of you who think you know what laTeX on this site means. ( it's a mathematical input of numbers and letters to make a cool font or color of text, etc.)

At the moment, I am unsure what ''The notebook'' May be used for, but I'm sure other users can help with that.

As you should know '' the Calculator'' is a Calculator, It does not show you how it does it's work.

When you see ''Subscribe'' You can pay $5 a month to have...

And last, but not least, Yes there is a night mode, At the bottom part by your name in the 3 lines, (Bottom left) You should see a little switch, Click on that and it will turn your computer on dark mode and If you don't like the dark mode you can always click that button again and you can get it back to light.

About the rules :

So, As our site may have some rules, It is best that you do follow them. I just want to make some pointers, about the rules.

If you were to answer a question using any information from google, It is best that you Cite your Sources. Not just by saying '' From google'' Like take the link and attach it to your answer.

It has been said that our website does not like other Homework Helping websites being cited into an answer because that will lead some users to work on the other site, rather than being on this site. So, It may be best to answer to the best of your knowledge.

It is also best if you were to not give a direct answer and lead them to the answer instead.



Chat Rules: In the chat, You are not supposed to bypass the language filters. You are not supposed to call people names or say anything mean about them or to them. You are not supposed to post any links in there for it is considered spamming. You are not allowed to spam. All about OpenStudy and the creation of QC

The founder of OpenStudy Was Preetha Ram (she has a TED talk if you want to find it on youtube). Her goal was to create a free-to-use peer-to-peer tutoring website to make tutoring and homework help accessible to everyone around the world. The motto was "Make the World your Study Group!"

In order to create and operate OpenStudy, that company took out a loan with the company that funded Brainly. Over the years, OpenStudy was unable to pay back that loan. So the funding company sold OpenStudy to Brainly to make up that loss of money. Brainly was OpenStudy's competitor - so once they took ownership, they shut OpenStudy down.

The people who had the idea to make OpenStudy initially did not have the coding knowledge to do so. So they took out the loan to hire programmers to make the website for them. Additionally, it costs a LOT of money to run a website. The website domain name costs money, the servers cost money. For example, QuestionCove has not been making a profit this entire time.

QuestionCove is trying to develop more avenues of revenue such as through hosting advertisements for users who are not logged in. If no one else donated money to QuestionCove, there will always still be one benefactor to donate the funds as long as Ultri is willing to keep QC alive.

QC has had a design update since it first launched. It could still be better. The messaging system was not as good as it is now, there was no dark mode, and there have been a bunch of behind the scenes improvements... I'm sure you can find the details with a bit of digging in Ultri's post history since they post updates on what has been improved and when.

There are 100 levels that you can reach. But it will take some time, so be patient.
The level Colors Are from:

. Orange- 0-17
. Red Orange 20-49
. Purple 50-74

Well now that I know this, How do I get my Smart Score up?
Well to get your Smart score up you have to answer Questions Responsibly and Ask Appropriate Questions, This will raise Your SS overtime.
