I woke from a dream
With a flash of light in my eyes
Oh god-
the aliens have come
Oh wait it's just the sun in my eyes

I rose from my bed
And i slipped on the floor
Is my house flooding?
Nevermind
My cat just peed on the floor

I looked at the clock
Knowing i was late for school
I took a deep breath
And jumped back in my bed

Because i realized something
Life is just better in my dreams
Probing aliens and flooding houses in my sleep
Is so much better than living life so unhappy
