¡Hola, amigos! Soy Raúl, de España. En España we begin the school year en septiembre and our school horario depends on each type of school. Some may run from 9 por la mañana through 5 por la tarde, with a two-hour lunch break. Other schools may begin at 9 por la mañana and end at 3 por la tarde, which is the typical lunchtime en España. Some schools may have only a one-hour lunch break and may or may not provide a cafeteria for children to eat at the school. Mi amigo Francisco in Costa Rica starts school en diciembre at 7 a.m. every morning. He stays there for about six hours. Francisco tells me that some students go to class either por la mañana or por la tarde. Source: https://www.donquijote.org/spanish-culture/traditions/education-in-spain/ Based on the reading, what is one similarity between schools in Spain and Costa Rica? The lunchtime for students The available class times The hour school starts The first month of school
We can cross out D because 1 starts in Decemeber and one starts in September.
We can cross out A because it doesn't give us a said lunchtime.
\(\color{#0cbb34}{\text{Originally Posted by}}\) @Devum We can cross out A because it doesn't give us a said lunchtime. \(\color{#0cbb34}{\text{End of Quote}}\) Just that it's 2 hours.
And we can cross out C because ones 7 am and ones 9 am.
This concludes that it'd be B and that'd be correct because each school day is 6 hours.
In Costa Rica it tells us that and in Spain it says 9 to 3 with a 2 hour lunch break so we count it as 10, 11, 12, 1, 2 ,3 which leaves us 6 hours.
