[color=white][size=5]For some of the newcomers to qc (me being one of them) bbcode can be confusing for some of yall, so I'm putting a list (even though we already have a more in depth one that goes into fonts and italics and such) up, I will include links to reference places and guides.

[color=white][size=5]Ok first off we have the basics of color coding

The way to write any color is to simply type
[size=10][color=
[size=5]then after that all you do is type a color in and add a bracket (]) to the end of it
Simple right?
Here is a color list for you to use:

[color=red][size=7]red
[color=orange]orange
[color=yellow]yellow
[color=lightgreen]lightgreen
[color=lime]lime
[color=lightblue]lightblue
[color=cyan]cyan
[color=blue]blue
[color=violet]violet
[color=purple]purple
[color=black]black
[color=gray]gray
[color=lightgray]lightgray
[color=white]white

[size=5][color=white]There is a more complex version of these using hex codes, here is the first link that you'll need when trying to pick a custom color you want, I'll teach you the format later.

Ok now for the format : )
To do hex code colors, all you have to do is this:
[color=#
Then go on the website posted above and find the color you want, copy the # area, e.g. FFFF00, this would show [color=#FFFF00]this[color=white], then you would do the same as any other colors and close it off with a bracket (so FFFF00])

Now I'll link Eiwoh's bbcode post so you newcomers (and maybe even experienced people here) can learn to do fonts and italics and such
