Solve the system of equations below by graphing them with a pencil and paper. Enter your answer as an ordered? y = -x - 4 y = x + 2

Hello @Jamaria123 and Welcome to QuestionCove Sorry for the delayed response. When we are graphing equations such as y = -x - 4 , it is a good idea to try to set up a table and try plugging in different x values and see what you get. For example, if I tried to do: x=0 into y = -x - 4 then y = 0 - 4 = -4 so the point (0, -4) would be on my graph. If I tried to do: x = 1 into y = -x - 4 then y = -1 - 4 = -5 so the point (1, -5) would be on my graph. Once you have enough points graphed for the equation y = -x - 4, you can draw a straight line through it. Then do the same steps for y = x + 2 The point where those two lines cross each other is your answer.
