Angle:

Triangle Sum Theorem says that the interior angles of a triangle add up to 180 degrees The way you can set up number 7 is (x - 4) + (x + 4) + x = 180

Angle:

and you can try to solve for x

Angle:

@boredfr

@boredfr

boredfr:

\(\color{#0cbb34}{\text{Originally Posted by}}\) @Angle and you can try to solve for x \(\color{#0cbb34}{\text{End of Quote}}\) Does x=60?

Angle:

perfect!

Angle:

how about for number 8 then? same idea 51 + 51 + (-3x) = 180

boredfr:

Does x= -26?

boredfr:

\(\color{#0cbb34}{\text{Originally Posted by}}\) @boredfr Does x= -26? \(\color{#0cbb34}{\text{End of Quote}}\) @Angle

Angle:

you got it :)

Angle:

do you want to try setting up number 9? it's using the same idea

boredfr:

\(\color{#0cbb34}{\text{Originally Posted by}}\) @Angle do you want to try setting up number 9? it's using the same idea \(\color{#0cbb34}{\text{End of Quote}}\) Number 8 and number 9 are different types of problems~

\(\color{#0cbb34}{\text{Originally Posted by}}\) @Angle Triangle Sum Theorem says that the interior angles of a triangle add up to 180 degrees \(\color{#0cbb34}{\text{End of Quote}}\)

boredfr:

(2x+5)+(x-5)+60+180?

Angle:

Close! (2x+5)+(x-5)+60 = 180

boredfr:

\(\color{#0cbb34}{\text{Originally Posted by}}\) @Angle Close! (2x+5)+(x-5)+60 = 180 \(\color{#0cbb34}{\text{End of Quote}}\) I wrote it incorrectly xd

Angle:

yee so you got it right :P now you should be able to solve it

boredfr:

x=40?

Angle:

perf

boredfr:

Number 10 is completely different i think

Angle:

nono it's still the SAAAAAMMMEEE idea :)

Angle:

yah add up the stuffs and it's still equal to 180

Angle:

110 + (3x - 8) + (3x + 6) = 180

boredfr:

\(\color{#0cbb34}{\text{Originally Posted by}}\) @Angle 110 + (3x - 8) + (3x + 6) = 180 \(\color{#0cbb34}{\text{End of Quote}}\) x=12?

Angle:

yeah you got it!

Angle:

there's still the last part you need to do for number 10 do you know how to do that?

boredfr:

\(\color{#0cbb34}{\text{Originally Posted by}}\) @Angle there's still the last part you need to do for number 10 do you know how to do that? \(\color{#0cbb34}{\text{End of Quote}}\) No.At.All.Sadly.

Angle:

if x = 12 What does 3x - 8 = ?

Angle:

if x = 12 What does 3x + 6 = ?

boredfr:

\(\color{#0cbb34}{\text{Originally Posted by}}\) @Angle if x = 12 What does 3x - 8 = ? \(\color{#0cbb34}{\text{End of Quote}}\) 28?

Angle:

easy as that

Angle:

and yes

GoldenChild:

u good at math
