Ok so my answer was: a. y=55 w=75 z=45 b. 55+75+45=175 175 doesn't equal 180 Therefor she is incorrect.

yes you are correct a super easy and foolproof method of doing part b is 11(5) ends in a 5, 15(5) ends in a 5. 8 times 5 + 5 ends in a 5. therefore it is impossible for the numbers in the ones place (3 fives) to end in a zero (in the ones place).
