Yes because there is only one x and when you subtract them then you would put the x at the end of the number that you get.

You cannot subtract 945x - 321 (you could subtract 945x - 321x but that’s not what the problem is asking) Just to clarify: is the x supposed to be a variable? Or a multiplication sign?
