Industrialization became commonly know during the 1800's (specifically 1820's), when factories became more equipped with less and less of hand labour which caused lack of jobs for all people alike. Not only job loss, but because of farming and crop failure, famine, poverty, and rising of taxes, many immigrants traveled from countries afar to America in order to look for a positive change.
