PrettyEyes:

At Jonathan's school, there are 30 seventh graders participating in the school play. Of the students in the seventh grade, 60% are not participating in the school play. How many seventh graders at Jonathan's school are not participating in the school play? A. 75 B. 60 C. 45 D. 20

Bonnnnn:

the answer is not b c or d

MidNiGhtSkY:

then the answer would be a. if it isn't the rest- but let me do math rq

PrettyEyes:

thank you

MidNiGhtSkY:

i'm pretty sure it's A because the other numbers are too small because 30 students in the play which is 40% of the 7th graders, cant be B because then there would be half, not C or D because the number is too small it needs to be bigger than the number of the 7th graders in the play. because the ones that aren't in the play is 60% which is more than 40% does that make sense or helpful?
