ellaisyoung:

If Earth rotates on its own axis while orbiting the sun, then how do you explain the sun rising in the morning and setting in the evening?

itsmehjay:

The rising and the setting all happens because of the earth rotating. 1 full rotation is 24 hrs or 1 day.
