CocoCammron99:

What is 3/10 + 2/6

supie:

the first thing I would do is simplify \(\frac26\) \(\frac26 \longrightarrow\frac13\) So now we have \(\LARGE\frac{3}{10}+\frac13\) so we have to find a common denominator the one I thought of was `30` So to get 3/10 to have a denominator of 30 we would have to multiply 10 by 3 \(\LARGE\frac{3}{10} \times \frac{3}{3}=?\)

supie:

And to get 2/6 to have a denominator of 30 we would have to multiply 6 by 5 \(\LARGE\frac{2}{6} \times \frac{5}{5}=?\)

CocoCammron99:

Oh ok thank you ik the answer

supie:

Ok np
