A bag contains 10 marbles of the same size that are red, yellow, and orange. The probability of picking a red marble is 10%. The probability of picking a yellow marble is 60%. Determine the probability of picking an orange marble from the bag and then classify the probability of picking an orange marble as likely or not likely to occur.
Is it 30%?
I added 60 + 10 and got 70
then i subtracted 100 - 70
to get 30%
is that how you do it?

Wait no I don’t think it is
@ThisGirlPretty Please help. There's inappropriate stuff going on right now.
where the mods at?
So there’s 10 marbles 10% is red 60% is yellow You need the probability of orange So turn that 10 into 100 There’s 10 red marbles outa 100 then divide by ten 1:10 So there’s 1 red marble then do the same for yellow There’s 6 outa 10 6:10 Do that 7:10 So yes gucchi you’re correct good job
@CripQUEZZ so the way i did it was correct too?
Yes
Alright, thanks!
It would be 3:10 orange marbles so yeah that’s 30%
