Describe the difference between living and non-living things.

The line gets blurry sometimes, but generally, living things: grow + develop, use energy, respond to the enviornment, maintain homeostasis, and reproduce while nonliving things do not

It can get a bit iffy sometimes when it comes to things like viruses, which *can* reproduce but not with their own reproductive mechanism (they typically "hijack" other cell's reproduction)
