yourgrandpa:

A television is a device that converts electrical energy into light and sound energy. Not all the energy that enters a television is converted into light and sound, however. What happens to the energy that enters the television but is not converted into light or sound? * A-The energy is stored in the wires in the television. B-The energy returns to the electrical socket. C-The energy is lost as heat. D-The energy is destroyed in the conversion process.

KjSaif:

We can close off D and B.

KjSaif:

Have any guesses?

KjSaif:

think about it, a device is created in order to produce something of sort. If it's shut down would the energy stay? Or would It maybe be "lost" ?

KjSaif:

With what I originally said, energy is lost. So this gives you the correct answer: C-The energy is lost as heat.

yourgrandpa:

its B
