Well maybe you should find somebody to talk to, somebody who will guide you through it and won't judge you.

sxdsouls:

breathe in and out talk to someone about it,

WendyMorales2007:

get some fresh air, breath, and relax. Maybe take a nap?

Shadow:

As some other users are already pointing out, do deep breathing. Focus on the air moving in through your nose and down to your lungs. Nice long exhalations are good too. Panic attacks are largely caused by a hyper focus on a particular anxiety (which truthfully is largely unfounded). For example, social anxiety is typically viewed as the fear of being judged by those immediately around you. Stepping back and just focusing on your breathing allows you to divert your thoughts away from that and calm down. This can allow you to slow down your heart rate and control your flight or flight response.

Shadow:

To address the point of the anxiety being unfounded, with social anxiety for example, most people don't actually care how you look or talk. Just be yourself - social anxiety in a way is a journey of learning to be yourself comfortably - a path of acceptance.
