Use the image below to answer the following question. What relationship do the ratios of sin x° and cos y° share? (1 point) A right triangle is shown. The two angles that are not 90 degrees are marked x and y. The leg across from angle y measuring 4, The ratios are both identical ( 3 over 5 and 3 over 5 ). The ratios are opposites ( negative 3 over 5 and 3 over 5 ). The ratios are reciprocals ( 3 over 5 and 5 over 3 ). The ratios are both negative ( negative 5 over 3 and negative 3 over 5 ). I believe the answer is C , But I'm really not sure on this one. I would really appreciate help

i believe its A. The ratios are both identical (three fifths and three fifths).

Karlottalotta:

Sorry I forgot the picture

kacchan:

its fine

kacchan:

peace out

Karlottalotta:

Thank you though

kacchan:

jhonyy9:

do you know the law of sin and cos ?

Karlottalotta:

yup

jhonyy9:

jhonyy9:

have you learn the sin and cos law ?

jhonyy9:

sin x = opposite / hypotenuse cos x = adjacent / hypotenuse

jhonyy9:

using these you can find easy the relation of ratio of sin x and cos y
