A student solved the following problem and made an error: Triangles ABC and DEF. Angles A and F are congruent and measure 135 degrees. Coordinates for the vertices are at A 0, 2 and B 2 Line 1 segment AC equals 2, segment DF equals 2, segment AC is congruent to segment DF Line 2 ∠A ≅ ∠F Line 3 Length of segment AB . A (0, 2) B (2, 4) d equals square root of quantity x sub 1 minus x sub 2 squared plus quantity y sub 1 minus y sub 2 squared, then d equals square root of quantity 0 minus 2 all squared plus quantity 2 minus 4 all squared, then d equals square root of negative 2 squared plus negative 2 squared, then d equals square root of 4 plus 4, then d equals square root of 8 segment AB = 2.83 Line 4 Length of segment FD . D (2, 0) F (4, 2) d equals square root of quantity x sub 1 minus x sub 2 squared plus quantity y sub 1 minus y sub 2 squared then d equals square root of quantity 2 minus 4 all squared plus quantity 0 minus 2 all squared, then d equals square root of negative 2 squared plus negative 2 squared, then d equals square root of 4 plus 4, then d equals square root of 8 segment FD = 2.83 Line 5 segment AC is congruent to segment FD Line 6 t\Ú,ã;riangle ABC is congruent to triangle FDE by SAS In which line did the student make the first mistake? (4 points) Line 6 Line 1 Line 5 Line 2
HELP ME
@MxxnLight Can you help
Is this a quiz/exam/test?
An assignment. Not a quiz or test
Oh, ok.
Well I can't help im sorry.
oh ok
@TETSXPREME
like first step given : triangles ABC and DEF so in this way wrote A not can be congruent with F if ABC congruent DEF from this result angle A congruent angle D angle B congruent angle E and angle C congruent angle F this is the first error made @AZ opinion pls
@Laylalyssa what you think about this pls . ? ty

have you learn about triangle congruentcy ?
suppose triangle ABC congruent triangle EFG what can you deducting from this ?
by sides and angles congruentcy
so wrote in this way triangle ABC congruent triangle EFG from these wrote in this way result side AB congruent side EF side BC congruent side FG side AC congruent side EG and so in this way with angles too angle A congruent angle E angle B congruent angle F angle C congruent angle G do you understand it now ?
corresponding sides and corresponding angles
this is why i ve wrote above my opinion that what is the first error made in case of this posted problem

The question does not state that triangle ABC is congruent with triangle DEF. It does state that angle A is congruent with angle F. However, there is information missing regarding all the coordinates of the triangles.
