as a reminder \[(x+c)\] moves c units to the left \[(x-c)\] moves c units to the right \[(x)+c\] moves c unit up \[(x)-c\] is c units down These are just the shifting transformations

Correct. The way I like to remember it is (x + c) + is plus which is 4 letters just like left (x - c) - is minus which is 5 letters just like right and then the other two are obvious
