mazvita:

The wheels on Susie's car were revolving at 40 revolutions per minute. What was the velocity of the car in centimeters per second of the wheel had a radius of 10 inches?

Mercury:

so far we have 40 revolutions per minute to figure out how much the car travels in 1 revolution, we need the circumference of the wheel. circumference = 2 * pi * r from there, you can multiply 40 * circumference to get the distance in inches per minute. from there, you can multiply by 2.54 cm/inch to get to cm, and divide that result by 60 to go from minutes to seconds.
