Gucchi:

The volume of a cone is 62.8 cubic inches. The height of the cone is 15 inches. What is the radius of the cone, rounded to the nearest inch? Use π = 3.14. 2 inches 4 inches 8 inches 9 inches

Gucchi:

This is 2 right?

ZombieLover:

yes :) beacuse We know that, The volume of a cone V= (1/3)*Pi*r^2*h here, volume is V= 62.8 cubic inches, Pi π = 3.14, The height of the cone h is 15 inches. Make Radius r^2 as subject of equation in doing so, u get \[R=\sqrt{(3v)/(pie*h)}\]

Gucchi:

@pooja195 is he/she right with that?

pooja195:

Yes they are :-)

Gucchi:

Ok, thanks for confirming.
