The reason they moved to Florida:
Britney and Leo were sent to a better middle school since they both had straight A’s. They live with their uncle.
Isaac and Isabella’s grandparents wanted them to come live with them since they needed to be watched over. Live with grandma and aunt.
Emma’s parents thought it would be a good idea so Emma can spend more time close to the ocean since she loves the ocean.
Alie missed Emma so her parents let her move with Emma.
Dilan moved to Florida since it was where most of his family lived.

How they met:
Matteo was the first one to show around the middle school to Britney and Leo.
Isaac, Emma, and Dylan had the first period together.
Isabella and Alie met each other in recess.
Matteo was Dylan’s distant cousin so they introduced each other to their friends.
