CillCeller:

What is the Indian Removal Act and when was it passed

JazzWill:

The Indian Removal Act was a law by President Andrew Jackson that he signed May 28, 1830, basically telling the president to give access to lands west of the Mississippi in exchange for Indian lands.

JazzWill:

Not many of the people liked the idea but some of them just moved anyways

Peregrinecella:

But not all the Indians liked this new law though.
