So in your image, it's hard to tell but that looks like a 6
I'm guessing the image isn't drawn to scale but even then I'm guessing 6 is the length of the internal part and not the entire secant so to find the value of the whole secant 6 + 2 = ?

nope the whole secant is 8 the external part is 2 so using the formula x^2 = 8 * 2 which would be?
