Match the following terms and definitions. 1. synthesis of repeating molecules protein 2. decomposition using water polymerization 3. two or more simpler molecules strung together polymer 4. a group of organic compounds including fats and steroids lipid 5. a sugar or polymer of sugar carbohydrate 6. a sequence of sugars, phosphates, and nitrogenous organic bases nucleic acid 7. large number of amino acids linked together by peptide bonds hydrolysis

#1, 2, 3 and 7 are wrong. I would suggest looking up the definition of polymerization, polymer, protein and hydrolysis. You got the correct idea about what a carbohydrate, nucleic acid, and a lipid is. But what is a protein? Also the word hydrolysis should give away what the correct answer choice is. (What does the prefix hydro mean? If that doesn't help then think about the word hydrate. Does that help?) Finally, polymerization is the process to make polymers. Hopefully that'll help you figure it out. But as I said earlier, search up these words and look up the proper definition :)

I'd be more than happy to check your answers once more :)
