Methods of Proving Triangles Congruent (questions about SSS, AAS, SAS, ASA, HL, MM)

4waldo:

is this triangle a SSS, AAS, SAS, ASA, HL, or MM

4waldo:

nobody has anything to say

Extrinix:

4waldo:

not to be rude, but how is that helpful

Extrinix:

|dw:1614285967353:dw| gotta gimme a sec :/

4waldo:

do you even know the question means

4waldo:

gtg

4waldo:

see ya

Extrinix:

sorry, but if you're just going to be rude whilst im trying to give you the options for \(\color{cyan}{SSS~AAS~SAS~ASA~HL~and~MM}\) im not going to help you

TypicalFoxGirl:

SSS - Side Side Side, if two triangles have three sites that are all congruent, then the triangles are congruent AAS - Angle Angle Side, if two triangles have two congruent sides and one (not-included*) angle, then the triangles are congruent. SAS - Side Angle Side, if two triangles have two sides that are congruent with an (included*) angle, then they are congruent ASA - If two triangles have sides that are congruent, and a (included) side that is congruent, then the triangles are congruent HL - If the hypotenuse and leg are congruent to the hypotenuse and a leg on the other triangle, then the triangles are congruent. MM - (I'm sorry but I wasn't taught MM, so I don't know what it means. If someone else could fill that out one that'd be great) *not-included being not between *included being between Hope that helps

TypicalFoxGirl:

@Extrinix I understand you were trying to help them but you did need to provide an explanation of what you were doing, it looks like they were confused (I know you were showing examples <3)

Extrinix:

@TypicalFoxGirl i was showing what each one looked like, i was gonna explain after, but some people dont have patience apparently
