Let's see if I can remember this: When a number is in |x| that means we're counting to it's distance to 0 So if you have a |-2| in there |-2|= 2, but If you have the negative outside of the (whatever it's called), it isn't affected So -|2|= -2 or -|-2| = -2 You should be able to figure it out from here :) If I'm wrong someone please correct me.
