The causes of the great depression



The great depression started on april 1929 all the way until march 1933. The great depression started after the stock market crashed which caused many small businesses to go bankrupt. The hardest hit from the great depression were the poorest people who barely had anything. Many banking panics in the early 1930’s caused many banks to fail. The great depression has affected almost every country in the world. The great depression had put a big impact on small businesses, grocery stores, and a huge impact on taxes. The stock market has lost almost 90% of their value in between 1929 and 1933.
