skrtkobainn:

A triangle can be formed with side lengths 2 in, 3 in, and 6 in. (5 points) True False

AZ:

You have to know this rule: The sum of the lengths of any two sides of a triangle must be greater than the length of the third side.

AZ:

That means 2 + 3 has to be greater than 6 2 + 6 has to be greater than 3 3 + 6 has to be greater than 2

AZ:

Is one of those statements that I just wrote wrong?

skrtkobainn:

the 1st one

AZ:

If one of them doesn't have 2 sides that add up to be something bigger than the third side then you CANNOT form a triangle If all of those are true, then you can form a triangle

AZ:

Good! So is your answer going to be true or false?

skrtkobainn:

false

AZ:

That's correct!
