Regarding links to social media/video chatting sites:

We do not allow links to social media sites (such as Padlet) or video chatting sites (such as Zoom). Please do not post them in the chat or in DMs. The first offense will receive a warning, followed by suspension as necessary. If you have any questions about this policy, please contact a moderator or ambassador. Thank you for reading.

Our users' well-being and safety is our number one priority and as such we have these rules in order to protect them. We cannot monitor or take responsibility for what happens on other websites.

We understand that you'd like to socialize with other students and so we have chats and direct messaging on QC for that reason. However, we cannot permit other social media sites or video chat rooms because there are dangers associated with unmoderated rooms.

We do not have jurisdiction over users’ behavior on other websites. We cannot take responsibility for inappropriate behavior that occurs offsite.
