Well, surface area has a simple formula. The formula is: SA = 2A1 + 2A2 + 2A3 (The numbers after (2A) are supposed to represent which area we're talking about.) Basically, it's saying Surface Area equals the area of each of the sides. Since a rectangle has 6 sides, 3 of which are repeated, we can just multiply the area of that side by 2. The first step would be to put it together and figure out our sides.

From this image, we can fill in our equation: SA = 2(12*25) + 2(12*18) + 2(25*18) Now just input this in a calculator, and you'll get your answer
