sophia333:

So im doing an algebraic expression, and to solve it i need to do 28 divided by 6 x 4 - 2. I cant figure it out- i needs to be without remainder, and if im using PEMDAS it has remainder-

AZ:

Can you post the exact question?

sophia333:

I dont have it with me-

0mega:

Have you tried long division?

sophia333:

Welp long division includes remainder also?

AZ:

You can have a remainder or decimals when you're solving an algebraic expression

0mega:

Some long division equations don't give off remainders

sophia333:

\(\color{#0cbb34}{\text{Originally Posted by}}\) @AZ You can have a remainder or decimals when you're solving an algebraic expression \(\color{#0cbb34}{\text{End of Quote}}\) Yea- but im almost 100% sure i cant have remainder here-

AZ:

If we could get your original equation we could make sure

sophia333:

Lemme try and find the problem in my book

AZ:

Otherwise 28 รท 6 x 4 - 2 will have a decimal aka remainder

sophia333:

OMLLLL I PUT THE WRONG NUMBERS IN IM SO SORRY TO WASTE YOUR TIMEEE

sophia333:

im stupid- thanks anyways :>

AZ:

haha no worries!
