Take the equation and solve it,

and solve it, so figure out how to isolate x
get that and you have x,
then you can plug in x to where x=__ is
then plug in what you got for x in (7x+1)

ok so first of ALL a simple question to everybody - why you think that the student who asked this problem know that from where result this equation of (A +B = 180) ?
i dont see nowhere somebody asked if he/she know the angle measure of a strait line equal how many ?
