In the figure below, ray XY intersects line AB at Point X. In the figure below, ray XY intersects line AB at Point X. Complete the following equations. x = m∠AXY = °
What do you think the answer is?
i have no clue
ok, well to help we'll need the graph(s)
mk hold on
Start off by figuring out an equation (A+B=180*)
^^^ so do 7x+1+108.3 = 180
*isolate the x
(if you dont know what isolate means, it basically means to seperate x from all the numbers, giving you x=Z (Z being any number))
thank you,i appreciate you both helping
you got it from here?
i think so
k, if you need help me and snowflake are here
thank you once again
you're welcome (from me and snowflake)
\(\color{#0cbb34}{\text{Originally Posted by}}\) @Extrinix you're welcome (from me and snowflake) \(\color{#0cbb34}{\text{End of Quote}}\) lolll ye ig
Lucky I learned this in my CP Geo class last week.
CP geo?
CP Geometry
what's the 'CP' ?
College Prep, right below AP (Advanced Prep)
how is geometry college prep?
no idea tbh
lol
@ARN3X you solved it yet?
uhm not really im kinda just staring at the sceen lmao
lmao
lolll
so do 7x+1+108.3 = 180 subtract 108.3 from each side *sorry extrinix lol
I think this question callssssss forrrrrr theeeeeeeeee... idk but @snowflake0531 is theeeeeee.. mathhhh helpeerrrrrr, elper, elper, elper...
\(\color{#0cbb34}{\text{Originally Posted by}}\) @simsharrison I think this question callssssss forrrrrr theeeeeeeeee... idk but @snowflake0531 is theeeeeee.. mathhhh helpeerrrrrr, elper, elper, elper... \(\color{#0cbb34}{\text{End of Quote}}\) do not understand what you're trying to say...... lol
i think @Extrinix is writing a essay lol
Take the equation and solve it, \(7x+1+108.3=180\) and solve it, so figure out how to isolate x get that and you have x, then you can plug in x to where x=__ is then plug in what you got for x in (7x+1) then you'll have your answer for \(\Tiny{angle}\) \(AXY\)
\(\color{#0cbb34}{\text{Originally Posted by}}\) @simsharrison I think this question callssssss forrrrrr theeeeeeeeee... idk but @snowflake0531 is theeeeeee.. mathhhh helpeerrrrrr, elper, elper, elper... \(\color{#0cbb34}{\text{End of Quote}}\) and @Extrinix
\(\color{#0cbb34}{\text{Originally Posted by}}\) @snowflake0531 so do 7x+1+108.3 = 180 subtract 108.3 from each side *sorry extrinix lol \(\color{#0cbb34}{\text{End of Quote}}\) would this be making it 71.7? or am i doing this incorrectly
\(\color{#0cbb34}{\text{Originally Posted by}}\) @ARN3X \(\color{#0cbb34}{\text{Originally Posted by}}\) @snowflake0531 so do 7x+1+108.3 = 180 subtract 108.3 from each side *sorry extrinix lol \(\color{#0cbb34}{\text{End of Quote}}\) would this be making it 71.7? or am i doing this incorrectly \(\color{#0cbb34}{\text{End of Quote}}\) yes so 7x=71.7 x=.....
oh mk thanks
remember that x isn't always a whole number, sometimes it's a proper or improper fraction
gimme a moment....
here's my work to find x...
\(\color{#0cbb34}{\text{Originally Posted by}}\) @Extrinix here's my work to find x... \(\color{#0cbb34}{\text{End of Quote}}\) oh wow thank you
it's not so in depth, but it shows you each ending of the steps i took
then divide, 70.7/7 = your answer
for x*
so it would become 10.1?
then input your answer for x ( - (7(x)+1) - )
if you divided 70.7/7 and got 10.1, then yes
i appreciate your help,ik ive said it like 65432 times but thanks once again.but i unfortunately have to go
@Extrinix @snowflake0531 cya
ok cya
\(\color{#0cbb34}{\text{Originally Posted by}}\) @Extrinix Start off by figuring out an equation (A+B=180*) \(\color{#0cbb34}{\text{End of Quote}}\) ok so first of ALL a simple question to everybody - why you think that the student who asked this problem know that from where result this equation of (A +B = 180) ? i dont see nowhere somebody asked if he/she know the angle measure of a strait line equal how many ? in second way where you explained what mean this A and B ? how can be A +B = 180 ?
@AZ any idea - opinion please ? ty.
