~Beautiful Child~
You lay eyes on your beautiful child.
You fall in love with the way they cling to you with everything they've got.
The way they stare up at you with love in their eyes.
You don't regret one moment you have with them... It's all worth it.
You are in awe at how beautiful your baby is.
You know you will do your best to give them their best life...
Then you have those years where they turn against you.
They see you as being odd for clinging to them,
When all you want is to keep your baby child close.
Then you need to trust in yourself, to hand off your baby girl to the man of her dreams.
Or watch as your son takes his beautiful wife into his life.
The person they will leave you for and spend the rest of their life with.
And you have to continue to fight to believe that it was all still worth it.

~Don't Let Go~
Have you ever been with someone you never want to let go of?
That person who makes you do crazy, stupid things.
The person who you are terrified they will let you go.
The person you can't live without but afraid to get involved with?
The person who will break your heart the most but you will still believe and trust in.
The person you cling to, afraid they will let you go.
In the end, they let you down and you shatter into a million pieces,
Thinking life isn't worth living without that person in it.
and yet, you don't let them go...

~Love @ First Sight~
Have you ever experienced love @ 1st sight?
Is it something you believe in?
That moment when someone says something so meaningful,
you lose your breath or don't know what to say?
That moment you fall to your knees,
knowing you would do anything for that person.
You don't want to believe what they are saying.
And you believe you don't deserve them
because you know that if you give in,
In the future they may find someone else and you will be completely destroyed and heart broken,
not knowing if you will make it any longer.
scared to give that person a chance.
Scared to have your heart broken, yet another time.
