so look pls on this number line - you need find how many ponds are in 4,5 kg,

so to find this bc. the number line of kilograms is numerate till 3,5 kg so we need divide the 4,5 kg in 2 parts one let be 3,0 kg and second part 4,5 -3,0 = 1,5 kg

and now look pls on this image on these number lines of kilograms and of pounds

so from there you get that to 3,0 kg correspond 6 pounds and to 1,5 kg correspond 3 pounds
and now to get how many pounds correspond to 4,5 kg just you need adding the 6 to 3 and will get the correct answer
