what is the action of Anne Frank Act 1, Scene 1 (Please put this in your own words below it)
Otto Frank has survived the Holocaust and returns to the attic where he and his family spent two years in hiding. Miep Gies meets him there and gives him the diary. The stage directions give us the idea that things have been neglected and a large amount of time has passed. Otto is old, weary, and heartbroken.

Hm, well you see where Miep gives Otto the diary? Well, after that, there isn't really much action involving Anne, but there should be. I'm not sure if you've posted the entire question because I read this a while ago and I think there's more to it than this. As you said, she isn't doing anything here. She's kinda just sitting there until her character is mentioned, which you have not included.
