Seems like the only ones you have wrong are 2, 3 and 8. Which gives us the left over words, freedmans bureau, carpetbagger, and finally black codes. Do you know what any of these are?

Well, from my history class, I know that black codes are a form of laws that gave African Americans certain rights, but limited others.


Taking a quick look at history.com, we can see that "carpetbagger" is a derogatory term used to define Northerners who migrated to the south to involve themselves in politics. Now that we know 2 of the three answers, we can use process of elimination to derive the final answer.
