Seems like u had the right example but the wrong explanation kinda


Gravity is something that pulls you towards the ground.
Ex: Moon has less gravity than the earth, this makes it possible to jump on the moon and typically float a little

Earth has a lot of gravitational force, this causes a person to be pulled back onto the ground after jumping in the air


Gravity is just basically a force that brings/pulls all objects and etc to the ground.
