MrsHero:

Write a multiplication expression using the following clues: One factor is a two digit number between 1 and 10 One factor is a two digit number between 1 and 10 (different from the first) The product is greater than 8, but less than 10

ScamTheMan:

Well, what I would do is use process of elimination to solve this question. We know that the product has to be greater than 8, but less than 10. Do you know what two numbers make 8?

MrsHero:

yaaaa 1*8

ScamTheMan:

That is true, and since it requires 2 digits in the number, we know that it's asking for decimals. So adding .1 to 1 and 8 would give you two 2 digit numbers that are greater than 8, but less than 10.

ScamTheMan:

\[1.1 * 8.1 = 8.91\] Or that's how I'm interpreting it at least.

MrsHero:

oooo thank you*

ScamTheMan:

Yes of course <3
