Photosynthesis is the process green plants transform light energy into chemical energy. Plants capture light energy which is used to convert water, carbon dioxide, and minerals. This creates an outcome of oxygen. Photosynthesis uses sunlight ot convert carbon dioxide into sugar/glucose. Sugar is used by cells as energy. The stomata releases oxygen during the process of photosynthesis. The phloem transports the glucose formed in photosynthesis into the branches. Each plant contains xylem. Xylem is reponsible for water transport from the roots to the leaves.
