5x + 2 < 9x + 1
have you ever touched inequalities?
they''re not that hard ot do
\[ (5x2 - 9x) - 1 = 0 \] ?

i need help
idk how this is supposed to be arranged
oof nevermind i was gonna make that but
'XD
How is this art?
i recommend first disregarding the < and solving what x equals 5x + 2 = 9x + 1 can you tell me the steps yo do to sovle for x
looks like snowflake has got this im out peace
lol
well, anyways you would solve it as 5x+2-5x=9x+1-5x 2 = 4x+1
so then it would be 1=4x then x =1/4
but because x is supposed to be on the right we would keep it like that 1/4 <x
Ok his is simple you jus do it as a simple equation 5x + 2 < 9x + 1 First you wanna get the variable on one side so subtract either (5x) or (9x) since there both positive numbers were gonna do (5x) tho (5x - 5x) + 2 < (9x - 5x) + 1 The (5x - 5x) cancels out and your left with (2 < (9x - 5x) + 1 and then solve the other side 2 < 4x +1 Now you wanna get the variable by itself so subtract (1) from both sides since it’s positive 2 - 1 < 4x (1 - 1) The (1 - 1) cancels out and your left with 2 - 1 < 4x Then simplify it 1 < 4x Then divide (4x) from both sides 1/4 < 4x/4 The (4x/4) cancels out and your left with 1/4 < x And since you can’t simplify no more X = 1/4 or 1/4 < x
