What is the best way to present a written apology?

snowflake0531:

Say it sincerely, with emotion lol

sxdsouls:

You wanna do it with honesty, bring it from the heart.

Astrid1:

Best to start off with an apology and then an explanation and you're reason why u did so. Usually works for me c: Example: I'm sorry (name) I know I shouldn't have written a bad word all over the chalk board but I felt it was necessary because it was a true comment. If I weren't to have said the truth, where would you be in a few months?

KazGotFetee:

Bring feeling Make he/her Feel you really meant it Snowflake0541 and Ferny are correct :)

SaltTheLoser:

Let me write an example and see if you guys think its what I should do

KazGotFetee:

and astrid

MrMudd183:

Depending on what it's for. What I would do is say that you have something for the person then hand them the note....I would add something sentimental to the note by giving them something they like i.e. sweets or something

SaltTheLoser:

Jack, I'm sorry that I attacked you with that baseball bat; the thing is, those things you said to me were out of line that just triggered things that makes me insecure. So I hope that shortly we can both come to terms and move on to this experience filled not with hatred but with a better understanding of each other.

SaltTheLoser:

Like that?

MrMudd183:

\(\color{#0cbb34}{\text{Originally Posted by}}\) @SaltTheLoser Jack, I'm sorry that I attacked you with that baseball bat; the thing is, those things you said to me were out of line that just triggered things that makes me insecure. So I hope that shortly we can both come to terms and move on to this experience filled not with hatred but with a better understanding of each other. \(\color{#0cbb34}{\text{End of Quote}}\) Yeah, that's good. It's better to come clean with that and making it sencear `sorry for the bad spelling` to make it more meaningful

snowflake0531:

I think that you should add something at the end, as an ending sentence thing

SaltTheLoser:

Uhh

SaltTheLoser:

Again, sorry about the broken leg.

SaltTheLoser:

I think i did good

SaltTheLoser:

Thanks for the opinions

snowflake0531:

The last word should be sorry

KazGotFetee:

Like here Jack, I'm sorry that I attacked you with that baseball bat; the thing is, those things you said to me were out of line that just triggered things that make me insecure. So I hope that shortly we can both come to terms and move on to this experience filled not with hatred but with a better understanding of each other. I hope we Can, Later on, Settle this Fued and be Friends , Sincerely (Your Name)

SaltTheLoser:

Yeah thats better but i think that apologies should be ended with a joke to lighten the tone

snowflake0531:

KazGotFetee:

KazGotFetee:

An Apology is good no matter what it comes from your Emotions and your heart.
