Seafoam:

All of the following explain the shift in U.S. manufacturing from the Rust Belt to the Sun Belt EXCEPT a growing labor pool available land lower wages access to transportation networks increased government regulations

Seafoam:

@Isry

Isry:

Okay so what do you know about each region?

Seafoam:

Nothing I can remember...

Isry:

What is the Rust Belt?

Seafoam:

Its a region with industrial decline and a lot of abandoned factories, near new yorks area? Somewhere there

Seafoam:

And the sun belt is all the south side of America

Seafoam:

@Isry

Isry:

Alright so thinking about this logically. Two of the options contradict each other. Which two?

Seafoam:

lower wages and a growing labor pool?

Isry:

Not quite that. If there is more available land then surely there's not the transportation infrastructure there already right? Since it's not yet been civilized?

Seafoam:

Oh.. ok so those two would be crossed off?

Isry:

There's only one correct answer to this questions since it uses the wording "all of the following except". The Sun Belt had large swathes of untouched land. This lends itself to which of those two options being correct?

Seafoam:

access to transportation networks?

Isry:

That wouldn't be correct because if the land is untouched then transportation networks wouldn't make sense right?

Seafoam:

Oh my god I put the other one and then I deleted it because I thought I was wrong

Isry:

Remember with factories with large workforces we're thinking in an urban context so it would be what the bus systems or subway if we're talking about New York is like.

Isry:

If there aren't large urban areas since there is available land then the transportations systems for that demographic won't be the best.

Seafoam:

Now I've been stuck on these two questions for days, and theres this one I'd like to check. Could you please help with those?

Isry:

Yeah definitely just open a new question.

Seafoam:

Ok thank you!
